Pro Shop Attendant

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Pro Shop Attendant to join our golf course in Canada. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with golf equipment sales, managing tee-time reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons. This position requires a passion for golf, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

· Opening/Closing of Pro Shop, including cash out procedures

· Supervision of Outside service staff, Cart operations, Club Storage and Driving Range

· Coordination and implementation of League and Member Events

· Assistance in set up and handling of corporate events

· Assistance with and execution of Inventory Control, Merchandising, Marketing and Promotion

· Daily interaction with members and green fee players up to Coloniale’s customer service standards

· Assistance with and execution of the club’s tee sheet management policies

Interpersonal Skills Required

· Customer Service skills

· Previous working experience in the Golf Industry an asset

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Tee-On Software

· Mature, self motivated, willingness to accept responsibility and accountability while working in a team environment

· Communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

· Punctuality and dedication

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: Up to 4 months

Part-time hours: Up to 40 per week

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour – depending on experience

Qualifications:

-Food safe certificate an asset

-1 years’ kitchen experience an asset

-Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

-Able to multi-task and solve problems under pressure

-Maintain a positive attitude and attendance record

-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

-Able to work independently and as part of a team

-Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position

 Duties:

-Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner

-Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking and

food preparation

-Maintain and oversee proper storage of all food items

-Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and in good working order

-Complete check lists before/during  your shift

-Communicate well with kitchen/front of house staff

-Adhere to and implement sanitation/safety regulations

-Manage the kitchen team in the executive chef's absence

-Provide feedback to the Executive Chef
